Praca polskiego artysty Rafała Jakubowicz pt. "Dziara" była w ubiegłym roku jedną z ciekawszych prac wystawy "Wypełniając puste pola" poswięconej znakomitemu polskiemu krytykowi i teoretykowi sztuki, Jerzemu Ludwinskiemu (1930-2000).
Ludwiński zwykł swoje wykłady i eseje faszerować diagramami, które czasem bywały iscie matematyczne, czasem natomiast mocno symboliczne (zreszta, na to samo wychodzi).
Jakubowicz zafundowal sobie ostatni zygzak z diagramu ukazujacemu rozpad sztuki, gdzie slowo "sztuka" pisane coraz niechlujniej staje sie po prostu falista linia.
Przyznam szczerze, ze to moja ulubiona praca z pogranicza sztuki jako takiej i tatuazu, pokazujaca jasno, ze tatuaz w kontekscie sztuki nie musi byc piekny, musi byc brzemienny w zaczenie. Oczywiscie, bez tego znaczenia, jest tylko burakiem.
Ale szczerze piszac, nie wiem co wole bardziej, burackie tatuaze z zapleczem, czy dopieszczone, ale puste prace...

What you can see is a work of a Polish artist Rafal Jakubowicz, titled "Tat" that was a part of the exhibition "Filling empty spaces", in memoriam of one of the greatest Polish art critics and theoretics, Jerzy Ludwiński (1930-2000), who often illustrated his essays and lectures with drawing-diagrams that suggestively presented the concepts of certain art phenomena.
Jakubowicz got gimself a tattoo of the lastest zigzag from the "Art's decomposition", where the Polish word 'sztuka' (art) written with looser and looser hand becomes just a wave line.
To be honest, it's one of my favourites when it comes to border between artsy art and tattoo. It clearly shows that a tattoo in art, doesn't always have to be pretty, and sometimes it's just a ugly tat, when without content. But to be honest, I'm not quite sure if I perefer these ugly but full of meaning tattoos, or these meaningless but technically and visually awesome pieces.
