Ulubionym medium nowozelandczyka Nicka Egglestona są akwarele. "Lubię ten element niespodzianki i niepewności gdy pędzel dotyka papieru. Nigdy do końca nie wiadomo jaki będzie wynik. Dlatego moje prace powstają raczej na zasadzie współpracy między artystą, medium i tym trzecim, nieuchwytnym elementem."
Wytatuowane bullterriery pochodzą z serii tworzącej wystawę "Po prostu banda suk", i pokazuję akurat te prace, bo już kilkukrotnie pokazywałam wam różne tatuowane zwięrzęta (porcelanowe koty i psy Chapmanów, malowane pitbulle Pratta, rysowane koty Horimoto czy w końcu żywe świnie Delvoye).

The medium of choice of a NZ artist Nick Eggleston are watercolours, the reason is that "working with watercolour allows [him] to experience the suprises you get when wet pigment meets wet paper… You can never fully control the results when this happens. It becomes more of a collaboration between the artist, the medium and a third element that is elusive and less tangible."
The tattooed bullterriers made an exhibition called "Just a pack of bitches" and I'm showing you these, as a part of this blog's tattooed zoo (i.e. we've already had here porcelain cats and dogs done by Chapmans, painted dogs by Pratt, Horimoto's drawn cats and live Delvoye's pigs).
