Jazz-minh Claire Moore wychowała w Oregonie, w położonym nieopodal lasów sekwojowych, otoczonym sadami, małym domku przy polnej drodze, niedaleko San Diego. Dziś mieszka w Greenwich Village na Manhattanie.
O swoich olejach mówi tak:
"Często maluję własne przyjaciółki, artystki i pisarki, które próbują dać ujście wrodzonej dzikości. Dziewczyny, którym przecież dzikośc nie przystoi, bo co ludzie powiedzą? Surowymi w formie pracami staram się wyrazić podziw dla tej wewnętrznej siły. Postaci i scenografia są próbą spojrzenia w oczy pierwotnym, nieujarzmionym emocjom, utraconej miłości, nieodwracalnym decyzjom i utracie dziecięcej niewinności. Nieodłącznym elementem jest tu też moja własna trudna droga, od małej dzikuski do kobiety która musiała przyjąć i zaakceptować pewne role społeczne.
Gruba warstwa syntetycznej żywicy pokrywająca drewno, także nie pozostaje bez znaczenia. Całe nasze życie to nic innego jak korygowanie szorstkości martwej tkanki gładkością plastiku. 
Lubię niewielkie formaty. W każdym portrecie staram się zawrzeć tę chwilę, gdy światło, woda albo jakieś uczucie przynoszą chwilę wytchnienia od wewnętrznego wyścigu. Gdy mogę zboczyć ze ścieżki, i zanurzyć twarz w splątanych włosach, albo po prostu cieszyć się powiewem wiatru.

Jazz-minh Claire Moore was born on a hippie commune in the old redwood forests of Oregon, and raised in a small house on a dirt road near San Diego, surrounded by fruit trees. She currently lives in Manhattan's Greenwich Village.
What she says about her oils:

"I often paint girlfriends of mine, artists or writers who have an inherent ferocity that they must let out - girls who shouldn't leave the house like that... what would people think?  Choosing in-between, raw expressions is my way to applaud something fiercely real and un-simulated.  Through my subjects, I grapple with stark, uncontrollable emotions, lost love, irrevocable choices, and the personal loss of innocence.  Inherent in these themes is my own intractable march, from the near-feral state of a young girl growing up in stark nature, to a civilized, compromised condition.

A poured coat of resin embalming bare woodgrain suggests what I consider to be a defining trait of our culture--the paradox of slick plastic surface beauty with the prevalence of dead surfaces.. 

My paintings are not grand.  Every portrait is a small exaltation of a moment in which light, wind, water or emotion brought a human psyche to pause it's viscerally competitive march. Slipping sideways, I fall into a mess of tangled hair, or escape into the wind."

Jasmine Worth: Cóż, sama nie wiem do końca, haha. Lubię gdy postaci rodzą się gdzieś w podświadomości, tak, że właściwie nie wiadomo, co było inspiracją. Silnie pociąga mnie motyw matki/bogini/Marii Dziewicy, więc pewnie trochę stąd. Myślę, że wszystkie one przedstawiają tę samą kobietę, której różne twarze uwielbiam przedstawiać.

Jasmine Worth: I’m not entirely sure, haha. It’s great to pull these characters out of your subconscious, and not really even know where they come from. I’ve been strongly attracted to the mother/goddess/Virgin Mary image in so much of my work. For me, they are all one and I love depicting the different aspects of her.

 "Cheap Tattoo Removal" by brooklyn based photographer Till Krautkramer is a combination of  photos of a person’s tattoo and  a piece of meat photographed under the same light scenario. The end result is a photo of an arm or a leg or a toe which looks as if it has been hacked off with an extremely blunt cutting implement.

Kręcąc kilka lat temu dokument o tatuażu więziennym, tatuator Scott Campbell odkrył, jak bardzo ograniczenia potrafią pobudzić kreatywność. "Podświadomie szukamy murów i barier, żeby móc je przekraczać, bo te mury i bariery pomagają nam określić gdzie jesteśmy i co mamy"mówi. Kilka lat później szukając drogi by znów zakochać się tatuażu, Campbell wraca do Meksyku, bo jak mówi "więzienna kultura tatuażu jest bardzo soczysta znaczeniowo. Wśród tłumu złożonego z ponumerowanych jednostek w pomarańczowych uniformach tatuaż pozwala zachować tę odrobinę osobowości i odrębności. ". Wraca, wkupuje się w łaski więziennych oficjeli i robiąc maszynki z tego co dostępne – tatuuje więźniów, każdą z maszynek uwieczniając na akwareli, by po powrocie wystawić je pod tytułem "Things get better" (Jest coraz lepiej).

While working on a project in Mexico City several years ago, which involved documenting aspects of prison tattoo culture, tattoo artist ScottCampbell discovered how boundaries can make us more creative. "It is human nature to look for walls and barriers to push against. Walls help us to know where we are, and what we have" he says. Few years later he comes back to Mexico on his search for falling in love with tattoo again because “prison tattoo culture holds a certain amount of gravity. There’s a population given orange suits and known by numbers — it’s homogenized — tattoos claim the little personality that these guys can have.”. Cambell befriends prison officials, and tattoos inmates creating tattoo gun from whatever he can find. "Things get better" is a exhibition of watercolors remembering these D.I.Y tattoo guns.
