The work of Cesar Santos, a Cuba-born US based artist goes along with the quote "art about art need not answer all the questions about art. Riddled as it is with riddles and enigmas, art lends itself to further riddles and enigmas." not only by pleasing viewer's eyes with the techinque, but also by creating a new quality mixing pop elements and high art, making us thinking about i.e. Rembrandt's smile (above) in a different way we all used to.
