"extInked (nieprzetlumaczalna gra slow: extinced - wymarły i inked - wytatuowany) to artystyczno-ekologiczny projekt powstały w listopadzie 2009 w wyniku wspolpracy Anatomy Projects z tatuatorami ze studia Ink Vs Steel.
W roku celebrujacym dwusetna rocznice urodzin Charlesa Darwina, przebadano sto rzadkich i zagrożonych wymarciem gatunków brytyjskiej flory i fauny, z których każdy został potem przeniesiony przez Jaia Redmana na kartkę i skórę setki ochotników.
Galeria na stronie ExtInked przedstawia portrety tych osob. Ponieważ w załozeniu nie ma to byc dokument o tatuazu, a wlasnie o ambasadorach biorących udzial w projekcie, zdjecia sa jakie sa.

"extInked is a participatory arts and ecology project launched in November 2009, in collaboration with Anatomy Projects and tattoo artists, Ink Vs Steel.
In the year in which the world celebrated Charles Darwin's 200th birthday, one hundred rare and endangered British species were identified and studied, before being delicately illustrated in pen and ink by Jai Redman on one hundred volunteers.
The gallery on the ExtInked website shows the photographic portraits of the one hundred ambassadors sporting the tattoos. The intention was not to make a document of the tattoo but to create a portrait of the individual, as a part of a shared experience of the social event.
